I’m back with another makeup look! I posted this on instagram and everyone seemed to love it so here’s the detailed step by step on how to get this look.
My go to foundation is still the L’oreal True Match, but now I use the shade 2.N Vanilla since I got some tan (living in Spain has its benefits). I apply the foundation with the Real Techniques Original Collection Base beauty sponge and set it with my new favorite setting powder – Clinique Sun Mineral Powder with SPF 30 (also a nice way to re-apply your SPF throughout the day). For the bronzer I use the Max Factor Creme Bronzer which has a slight shimmer and it makes you look naturally glowy and countured.
For the brows I’ve been using this NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade, which is a really good dupe for the ABH Dipbrow Pomade. It stays on the entire day, even if I workout and sweat. I also like to apply the Benefit Gimme Brow + gel to keep my brow hair in place and make them look fluffier and more natural, not so drawn on.
The key to get this look right is to blend blend blend! I started off by applying a taupe eyeshadow in my crease and blending it it. Then I applied the reddish-brown on my entire lid and blended it into a cat eye shape towards the outer corner of the eye. Then I cleaned it out with some concealer, making a sharp line.
That’s where I started drawing my eyeliner. For this look I used two different shades of brown. I started with a lighter brown, from the outer half of my eye and slowly release pressure as I drag it towards my brow. I like to align it to where my brow ends, but I don’t connect it with my brow of course. Then I blended the brown eyeshadow and added a more sharp line with the darker brown. Then I blended again until it looked clean. I also dragged the eyeliner all the way to my inner corner and made a cat eye shape, which also connects with the lower lash line. I applied the same reddish-brown to my lower lash line and blended, then applied the same dark brown that I used for the eyeliner to line the lash line as close to the eyelashes as possible. I blended again till everything looked connected.
Next step was eyelashes. First I curled them and applied a layer of my favorite Benefit Roller Lash mascara and then applied false eyelashes from Ardell in the style Demi Wispies. I used the Ardell Duo eyelash glue.
I used my new favorite combination – NYX Slim Lip Pencil in the shade Peekaboo Neutral for lining my lips, MAC Velvet Teddy all over my lips and MAC Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait.
That’s it for this look, I hope you like it! Let me know if you decide to recreate it and follow me on instagram for more!
