I’ve been looking for the perfect cleanser ever since I got into skincare. After trying to find the one for over a year I can finally share my absolute favorites.
Soon after getting into skincare I discovered the big, glamourous world of korean skincare. I was sucked into this world very quickly, especially after discovering how flawless and pulp the skin of the korean women is. My skin was still suffering from acne after I’ve stopped taking the pill so this cleanser with the ideal skin ph was a must have.
It removes impurities, while hydrating and restoring the skin’s natural pH. It has an ideal pH of 5~6 which doesn’t disrupt your skin’s natural balance.
The key ingredient is tea tree oil so it’s also good for acne prone skin. It has a clear jelly kind of a texture and it slightly foams up when mixed with water. It’s suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive and dry skin.
The next cleanser I tried was the Cosrx salicylic acid. I needed something a bit stronger for the summertime when my skin gets more oily than usual. It was a perfect addition to my nighttime routine and it helped calm down my acne.
It’s a more creamy cleanser with 0.5% of salicylic acid as key ingredient. It removes impurities and sebum, reduces acne and breakouts.
The texture is thicker than the Good Morning cleanser and it looks more like a cream than a cleanser. It leaves your skin super soft. This one is more suitable for oily and acne prone skin.
After I’ve ran out of my usual daily cleanser and I wanted to order a new one, but it was out of stock. I came across this one from Neostrata and after a bit of research I decided to give it a try.
It slightly foams up when you mix it with water, but it still doesn’t strip your skin. I use it in the evening after cleansing with the cleansing oil.
I would recommend it for oily and acne prone skin, since it contains salicylic acid which helps with getting rid of the excess oil. It also contains gluconolactone which help with water absorption and for a barrier on your skin to protect it. Aside from that it contains mandelic acid which helps with oil balance, glycerin and tea tree oil.
My favorite out of these three has to be the Neostrata one. I’ve been using it ever since I bought it and I won’t change it until I find something better, but for now I’ll stick with this one.
That’s all for now, check out my other skincare posts here. Thank you for reading x
