Welcome back to another perfume review. This time we’ll be talking about a perfume I have never laid my hands on before, so here we are!
Chanel Chance has been around for about 10 years now and it’s become a staple in their line of perfumes. It comes in many different variations as well – from fresh, to floral and sweet editions. There’s a Chanel Chance for just about anyone out there. Today I’ll be reviewing the classic, Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum.
When I first smelled it, I’ll admit, it wasn’t my favorite. The Chanel Chance seemed a bit mild and too fresh for my taste, but when I wore it out a few times, I definitely changed my mind. It’s the perfect everyday spring perfume, especially if you like perfumes with floral and woody notes. It stays on your skin for a very long time, even though it is quite a moderate scent. The price per quality ratio is also great, considering this is a Chanel perfume.
The main accords of the perfume are musky, powdery, woody and spicy. You can definitely smell the patchouli, white florals and a hint of vanilla, especially on the dry down.
The Chanel Chance’s top note is pink pepper, which gives it a sharp opening. On the dry down you start to smell the middle notes florals – jasmine and iris. And when it dries down completely you can definitely smell the strong patchouli, musk and a hint of vanilla.
I think this perfume is quite a safe gift for just about anyone. It’s a classic that you will surely grow to love, even if your initial impression might not be impressive. And if the classic eau de parfum is not your cup of tea, you can try some of its other Chanel variations as well.
That’s all for this post, check out more perfume reviews here and see you next time x
