I was so excited when I heard the news of Urban Decay coming to Notino! I’ve been a fan of the first few Naked palettes, but I really wanted to try some of the new ones to see if the quality is still as good as it was before. Also, the colors of the new palettes are right up my alley, especially the one I decided to go for, the Naked Cherry palette.
I am a huge fan of neutral shades and I normally only wear beige and subtle pink shades as eyeshadow. The Urban Decay Naked Cherry palette has all of that and also a bit deeper, bolder colors for a more strong, evening look. I like the ratio between the metallic and matte shades, there’s just enough of both of them. Every shade in this palette works great together! You can create everything from a simple, everyday makeup look to the more glamorous, evening look.
I also think that the deep red/pink tones are perfect for green eyes because they make them pop so much more. For this makeup look I used the deep red tones in the crease. The I added the metallic on the center of the lid and a light/highlighter on the inner corner. This creates such a nice, sophisticated look.
Beside the Naked Cherry palette I also tested the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. I’ve been on the search for a new one for so long and when I saw this one I had to try it. It is well rated online and recommended by many youtubers so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed.
It’s big, fluffy brush is perfect for application and layering. Firstly it coats the lashes with the dark mascara and then elongates then. It really opens the eyes and pulls the attention to them. It’s also good for applying on lower lashes!
